Age is the biggest risk factor for dementia but 18,500 develop dementia before the age of 65yrs. An increasing amount of those will have Down’s syndrome others will have other established genetic links such as Huntington’s disease. This 3 hour course examines the causes and management of those people who develop dementia before they retire from work.
